Who is ATO?

ATO is a community-based behavioral/mental health organization providing outreach and services to people in need in their communities across the great state of Texas.  Our goal is to improve the health and welfare of every person we treat mind, body, and soul so that you can live and experience a more abundant life.

ATO has developed an extensive network of highly professional like-minded groups to support the needs of the communities we serve and provides for a holistic healthcare approach devoted to improving the total healthcare deliverable for all our clients.

We have developed synergistic partnerships with community organizations such as schools, churches, and other community-based organizations to deliver our services where we are needed the most.

ATO’s mission is to provide Quality, Compassionate, Constructive, and Comprehensive `services that will help improve the mental health and welfare of all individuals to assure them that there is HOPE for tomorrow.

Our vision is to be the key source for mental health and substance abuse services in the state of Texas.  In doing so, ATO is committed to assuring HOPE for tomorrow by promoting Healing, Optimism, Purpose, and Empowerment for all youth and adult individuals who are on their journey to recovery and wellness.

Early Warning Signs That Your Mental Health May Be Declining:

  • Eating or sleeping too much or too little

  • Avoiding people and usual activities

  • Having unexplained aches and pains

  • Feelings of helplessness or hopelessness

  • Smoking, drinking, or using drugs more than usual

  • Feeling unusually confused, forgetful, on edge, angry, upset, worried, or scared

  • Hearing voices or believing things that are not true

  • Thinking of self harm or harming others

  • Inability to perform daily tasks like taking care of your kids or getting to work or school
